In a Violent Nature: Part 2 Sets February 12, 2027 Release — Johnny Heads to Summer Camp
Johnny returns in In a Violent Nature: Part 2 on February 12, 2027. What is reported about the theatrical date, summer-camp story and creative team.

In a Violent Nature: Part 2 has a February 12, 2027 theatrical release date. Returning Johnny actor Ry Barrett announced the date at New York Comic Con on October 10, according to Deadline’s report. The Independent Film Company/Shudder sequel moves the masked killer’s hunt to a summer camp.
The announcement supplies a date for the US theatrical plan. It does not establish a Swedish opening or a worldwide simultaneous release, and there is no confirmed Shudder streaming date in the sources linked here.
What is Part 2 about?
The official international sales listing from Charades describes Johnny reaching a summer camp during an end-of-season gathering. A young outcast camper has to stay overnight with the camper’s counselor sister and her friends. That puts the returning killer near a group expecting a party rather than an attack.
For newcomers, Johnny is the undead killer introduced in Chris Nash’s 2024 In a Violent Nature. The original UK distributor’s synopsis begins with a stolen locket that disturbs his resting place. His pursuit of the people who took it drives the original film.
Who returns, and who is directing?
Barrett returns as Johnny, and Nash wrote the sequel. Deadline identifies Nate Wilson and Nash as co-directors; Charades lists Nathaniel Wilson in its director field and Nash as writer. The theatrical announcement is reported by Deadline rather than dated on that sales page.
