LOUD have won VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026, defeating Team Vitality 3–1 in the October 18 grand final. The victory makes the Brazilian organization the first to win two VALORANT Champions titles, adding 2026 to its 2022 championship.

The best-of-five ended on Haven after wins for LOUD on Summit and Sunset, with Vitality taking Lotus. Riot’s official post-final photograph shows the winning squad and staff with the trophy at Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena.

LOUD vs Vitality: every map result

The following scores come from VLR.gg’s completed grand-final match record. Team columns retain the same order throughout.

Abyss, the remaining fifth map, was not needed. VLR’s veto record lists Summit and Sunset as LOUD’s picks, and Lotus and Haven as Vitality’s.

The swings that decided the final

Summit was the comeback. VLR records LOUD trailing 3–9 at halftime before winning the second half 10–2. That reversal produced a 13–11 opening-map win despite Vitality’s six-round advantage at the break.

Lotus restored parity. Vitality led 8–4 at halftime and completed a 13–8 win on its own pick, bringing the series to 1–1. LOUD then answered with the final’s widest margin: 13–5 on Sunset, including a 6–0 second half after a 7–5 opening half.

Haven settled it. The teams were level at 6–6 halfway through. LOUD took the second half 7–4 to finish 13–10, closing the best-of-five without a deciding fifth map.

Why the second title matters

THESPIKE’s post-match report identifies LOUD as the first organization to win Champions twice, following its 2022 title. This is an organization record: it should not be read as a claim that these individual players had already won the event.

Riot also recognized erde as MVP in an October 18 post from the official VALORANT Champions Tour account. THESPIKE identifies him as Roberto “erde” Lobos and describes the award as tournament MVP.

Shanghai also hosted the reveal of a new agent. Our Hush trailer and release-status report separates Riot’s official Duelist announcement from reported gameplay and unlock-date details. For more competition news, visit Gaming News.
