Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World is getting Season III. KADOKAWA confirmed production on October 25, 2026, revealing new teaser artwork and the returning main staff and Japanese cast. A premiere date or release window has not been announced.
The confirmation moves the story beyond Season II, but it does not establish when new episodes will be ready. In his message on the official site, original author Kei Sazane says production is still under way and asks viewers to wait for the broadcast.
What does the new teaser art tell us?
Character designer Kaori Yoshikawa drew the new illustration shown above. It places Iska and Rin beneath Aliceliese, with Rin holding a guidebook as the pair prepare to enter the Empire.
KADOKAWA’s accompanying story outline explains the mission: Iska’s unit and Rin are heading into Imperial territory to rescue Sisbell. The publisher also points to mysteries within the Empire and a hidden history reaching back a century. Those are announced story elements, rather than conclusions drawn solely from the picture.
The visual is announcement artwork. It is not evidence that animation is complete or that a broadcast is imminent.
Returning creators and voices
Yuki Inaba returns as director and series composer, with Kaori Yoshikawa on character design. Animation is credited to Studio Palette and SILVER LINK., continuing the announced Season II team.
| Character | Returning Japanese voice actor |
|---|---|
| Iska | Yusuke Kobayashi |
| Aliceliese | Sora Amamiya |
| Mismis | Nao Shiraki |
| Nene | Kaori Ishihara |
| Jhin | Shunichi Toki |
| Rin | Yumiri Hanamori |
| Sisbell | Azumi Waki |
The original novels are written by Kei Sazane, with character illustrations by Ao Nekonabe.
Is there a Season 3 trailer or streaming date?
The publisher links an official KADOKAWA announcement-program archive featuring Kobayashi and Hanamori. It is a cast information show, not a standalone Season III trailer.
The checked announcement gives no episode count, international streaming licence, regional launch schedule or English dub date. Availability of earlier seasons does not establish distribution for Season III.
