BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! // Ave Mujica begins its Japanese TV broadcast on Friday, January 8, 2027 at 23:30 JST. The sequel will air nationwide through Nippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT block. Bushiroad’s October 25 announcement also brings Teaser PV 2: Side Ave Mujica, featuring the band in new stage costumes.

The new information is the precise day and time. The January 2027 window was announced in March, while the series title was already reported on October 16. This is a scheduling update for an existing sequel project.

When does the sequel premiere in Japan?

The official on-air page lists the following start:

ScheduleDate and time
Japanese television premiereJanuary 8, 2027, 23:30 JST
Same broadcast time in UTCJanuary 8, 2027, 14:30 UTC
Broadcast blockNippon TV’s FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT

The producer notes that the broadcast schedule may change. The UTC row converts Japan’s TV time; it does not establish when an overseas streaming service will release the episode.

The new upload is from the project’s official BanG Dream! channel, バンドリちゃんねる☆. It is the Side Ave Mujica teaser linked in Bushiroad’s announcement.

Bushiroad describes this preview as a look at Ave Mujica’s new costumes. The imagery supplies a visual introduction to the sequel; it does not establish unannounced plot outcomes or an episode count.

What comes before the new series?

The television project continues the stories of BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica. Viewers catching up should begin with those two series, in that order.

There is also a separate film, BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora, which opened in Japan on October 16, 2026. Bushiroad identifies it as a continuation of the Ave Mujica anime. Its cinema release and promotional videos should not be confused with the January television premiere or the Side Ave Mujica teaser above.

Is international streaming confirmed?

The verified announcement establishes a Japanese broadcast, with no international streaming platform, regional release schedule or dub date specified. A service carrying one of the preceding series in a country does not by itself confirm the new sequel’s availability there.
