Bleach’s television adaptation has reached its conclusion with Thousand-Year Blood War episode 50, “DEATH & STRAWBERRY.” Two short official commemorative videos mark the finale: a special ending montage and THE STORIES VISUAL MOVIE. Neither is an announcement of a new theatrical film.

The production announcement, reproduced by Dengeki Online, describes the conclusion of the TV adaptation that began in 2004. That is a span of roughly 22 years, including time off-air; it does not mean 22 uninterrupted years of weekly episodes. Thousand-Year Blood War returned to television in 2022, with The Calamity as its final installment.

The uploads include finale-related imagery. Watch episode 50 first if you want to avoid spoilers.

The special ending video runs for just over four minutes. The production release describes a montage of credits and animation drawings accompanied by “Number One.” It is the ending tribute associated with the final episode, rather than a separate feature-length story.

THE STORIES VISUAL MOVIE is a separate, 24-second retrospective. The official upload describes it as bringing together the series of 15 Ichigo Kurosaki visuals. Both videos come from the same official BLEACH anime channel.

Why October 26 and October 27 both appear

The production schedule lists TV Tokyo’s final episode in the October 26, 24:00 JST slot. On an ordinary clock, that is October 27 at 00:00 JST, or October 26 at 15:00 UTC. The release accompanying the videos is dated half an hour later in Japan.

The dates therefore refer to the same late-night broadcast sequence, rather than two different finales. Our earlier report on the episode 49–50 delay explains the schedule change that led to these slots.

Where to watch the finale legally

VIZ’s distribution guide schedules subtitled episode 50 for October 26 at 8:30 a.m. PDT / 15:30 UTC. It identifies Hulu on Disney+ in the United States and Disney+ in its announced international markets. Check the official catalogue for your country; the platform and language offering can vary.

Dubbed releases have a separate timetable. VIZ lists November 30 for the US English- and Spanish-dubbed finale, with some other language schedules running later. The subtitled release does not mean every dub is available at the same time.

The announcements conclude this television adaptation. They do not announce a successor anime, a Hell Arc adaptation or a new feature film, and they do not establish that no future Bleach project could ever be made.
