Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 Gets a Full Trailer Before Its October 20 Premiere
Watch Netflix's new Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 trailer, released October 14. Here are the footage details, trailer song and confirmed October 20 release.

Netflix has released a new full trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 ahead of its October 20, 2026 premiere. Published on October 14, this is a later preview than the premiere-date teaser covered in our August release and cast guide.
The original Netflix upload runs just over two minutes and returns to a different crew in Night City. CD PROJEKT RED and TRIGGER describe the anime as a standalone, 10-episode story, rather than another adventure centered on the first series’ leads.

What is visible in the new preview?
Three moments show the contrast between recording life in Night City and being caught inside it:
- Around 0:06, a figure holds a camera with a bright green display beside a building’s exterior structure. Recording devices are part of the imagery, rather than simply a way of presenting the trailer.
- Around 1:31, a dark-haired character’s face fills the frame, with green-lit eyes visible through deep shadows. The shot alone does not establish a final confrontation or a character’s fate.
- Around 1:41, the preview cuts to towering buildings against an orange and pink sky, returning the emphasis to Night City’s scale.
The camera imagery has a connection to the official character descriptions: Roman Carax is a young cinephile pursuing real stories in a city that has moved toward braindance. That description supplies context; it does not make every camera shot proof of Roman’s eventual storyline.
Who is the new story about?
CD PROJEKT RED describes Weak, formerly known as King, as a veteran edgerunner living without chrome and looking for purpose. D is a Snake Nation netrunner seeking the killer of his clan, while Talia comes from a corporate upbringing and life shaped by Maelstrom.
Director Kai Ikarashi leads the series. For the fuller cast and production background, our earlier guide remains the place to start.
What is the trailer song, and when does the series arrive?
RPG Site identifies the track as High Forever (Marlon Hoffstadt Remix) by Petite Meller. That is the trailer’s music identification, rather than confirmation of the complete series soundtrack.
Both Netflix’s original upload and the official CD PROJEKT RED site give October 20, 2026 on Netflix. The checked sources do not specify an exact worldwide release hour or a territory-by-territory language schedule. The new footage introduces the atmosphere and characters; their ultimate outcomes remain for the series itself.
