ELECEED Anime Sets April 2027 Broadcast, Releases English Trailer
ELECEED confirms an April 2027 broadcast window and an English version of its trailer. Here is what Crunchyroll’s licence covers and what remains unannounced.

ELECEED will begin broadcasting in April 2027, the anime’s production team announced on October 21. The update gives the supernatural action adaptation a specific month, while Crunchyroll remains its announced streaming home in licensed territories.
The official Japanese announcement confirms the April window. It does not give an exact premiere day, Japanese channel schedule or episode count. The accompanying English-language announcement also points viewers to a newly published English version of the trailer.
Watch the English trailer
The production’s official ELECEED channel uploaded Part 1 (English ver.) on October 21. As Crunchyroll’s announcement explains, this is an English version of the previously released trailer. Its arrival should not be mistaken for confirmation of an English dub or an entirely new batch of animation.
Where will ELECEED stream?
Crunchyroll’s August licensing announcement names worldwide territories excluding Japan and China for ELECEED. That footprint describes the streaming licence; it does not establish an identical local launch hour, subtitle selection or dubbed release schedule in every country.
| Question | Confirmed information |
|---|---|
| Broadcast window | April 2027 |
| Streaming service | Crunchyroll in its announced territories, excluding Japan and China |
| Exact first-episode date | Not announced in the current production update |
| English dub date or cast | Not confirmed by the English trailer announcement |
The earlier licensing post still uses the broader “early 2027” window. The production’s newer April announcement is the more precise date to follow. Our release calendar records the month without turning it into an invented April 1 premiere.
A powerful fighter, a kindhearted boy and a cat
The anime adapts the webtoon written by Jeho Son, credited as SJH in Japan, and illustrated by ZHENA. Jiwoo Seo has hidden his unusual abilities; helping an injured cat brings him into contact with Kayden, a formidable Awakened fighter stuck in feline form. Their partnership draws Jiwoo into a wider world of people with extraordinary powers.
The production’s staff and cast listing names Hiroshi Nishikiori as director at DandeLion Animation Studio, with Yousuke Kuroda handling series composition and scripts and Minami Sakura designing the characters. Junya Enoki voices the lead, named Yu Kazahaya in the Japanese adaptation. These are established production details, rather than a new cast reveal attached to the April announcement.
For now, April is the confirmed window. An exact episode-one schedule and language-specific streaming details still need their own announcements.
