Rockstar has previewed six radio stations for GTA VI and confirmed on-demand podcasts, with both available in vehicles and on foot. The October 8 announcement introduces Latin, country, African music, metal, pop and Southern hip-hop stations. These are six selections from the game’s radio lineup, rather than a complete soundtrack reveal.

The bigger change is where listening happens. Jason and Lucia can use headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones, taking radio and podcasts beyond the driver’s seat. Rockstar confirms that feature in its original radio announcement.

The six GTA VI radio stations revealed so far

Rockstar’s station pages use these on-air names. The descriptions below summarize the announced programming rather than promise a complete playlist.

StationMusicOn-air hosts
Cocoteo FMModern Latin, including bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaetonEl Martillo and La Gata
Back Country RadioCountryMW and Delta Dawne
AfroBank FMAfrican classics and contemporary styles, including amapiano and 3-stepBurna and Palmsy
The Chamber 106.6MetalDJ Kerry and DJ Tom
Flash FMPopRobyn and Alex
Dirty South ClassicsSouthern rap and hip-hopTrick and Trina

For the real-world identities behind those names, Pitchfork reports Bad Bunny and RaiNao on Cocoteo; Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey on Back Country, alongside Jeremy Dufrene; Burna Boy and Palms Trax on AfroBank; Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya on The Chamber; Robyn and Alex Consani on Flash; and Trick Daddy and Trina on Dirty South Classics.

That attribution is separate from Rockstar’s in-universe billing. Back Country’s announcement, for example, also describes a roaming reporter called Mud Dog Mike, whose reports come from a Grassrivers airboat.

How podcasts and listening on foot work

Rockstar describes the podcasts as on-demand, giving Jason and Lucia another listening option alongside terrestrial radio. It has not yet detailed the podcast lineup or the listening interface, so there is no confirmed episode list or control guide to publish.

The company explicitly says radio and podcasts can be heard in vehicles and through the new headphones and earbuds while on foot. That establishes access away from cars; it does not establish every situation in which playback will continue or how missions might interrupt it.

Where to hear the official previews

The six station links above lead to Rockstar’s official music hub, which includes a preview player. These are publisher-selected samples, not evidence that every song heard will constitute a station’s final playlist. Rockstar says further music information, including its dynamic score, is still to come.

The 34-track album is a separate release

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is scheduled for November 19 and contains 34 original tracks, according to the music hub. That count belongs to the companion album. It is not the total number of songs across the game’s radio stations, and the album’s artist roster does not supply a complete list of radio DJs.

The game remains scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Our GTA VI guide covers the broader release, characters and world, while the Trailer 2 breakdown examines the earlier story footage.
