Hollywood Arts Trailer Brings Trina Vega Back to the Victorious Universe — Who Else Returns?

Netflix’s official trailer for Hollywood Arts confirms what the August teaser only hinted at: Daniella Monet isn’t the only Victorious alum walking back through those doors. The new footage introduces the full incoming class of students while locking in several returning faces from the original series.

What Hollywood Arts Actually Is

Netflix’s official synopsis is direct: “Struggling actress Trina Vega returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students.” Daniella Monet reprises the role of Trina — Tori Vega’s older sister from Victorious — putting her on the other side of the classroom this time, not as a student but as the person supposedly in charge.

Who’s Officially Back From Victorious

Netflix’s own Tudum coverage confirms three returning Victorious cast members beyond Monet. Yvette Nicole Brown returns as recurring character Principal Helen Dubois. Eric Lange guest stars as acting teacher Erwin Sikowitz — the character was central to the original show’s performing-arts curriculum. Matt Bennett plays “fellow Hollywood Arts alum and ventriloquist Robbie Shapiro,” per Netflix’s own description of the role.

Nothing in Netflix’s official materials mentions Victoria Justice, Tori Vega, or any other original cast member beyond these three plus Monet. Don’t assume a wider Victorious reunion is coming based on this trailer alone.

The New Generation of Students

The main new cast, confirmed alongside Monet: Alyssa Miles, Erika Swayze, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, and Martin Kamm, playing students including an aspiring tech producer, a musical talent, and other Hollywood Arts hopefuls. The trailer also introduces guest stars Kira Kosarin, Lexi Rivera, Sofie Dossi, and Taylen Biggs — Netflix’s material confirms them as part of the cast without detailing specific character roles for each.

Trina’s New Job, and What the Trailer Doesn’t Settle

The footage leans into the culture-clash setup: Trina, a struggling actress herself, is now nominally the authority figure for a group of students more talented and more confident than she expected. Monet has described the tone as intentionally dual-purpose, saying she was guided by “how do we appeal to [the original audience] while still opening up to the entire masses.” That’s Monet’s own framing of the show’s goal, not an independently verified claim about how the finished series plays.

What the trailer doesn’t confirm: specific plot arcs, whether Trina keeps the job past the pilot, how the new and returning characters actually interact beyond a first meeting, or any romantic pairings. Treat the footage as tone-setting and cast-introduction material, not a plot summary.

Netflix has also confirmed the show’s theme song, “Here To Stay,” and a full soundtrack releasing alongside the premiere.

Hollywood Arts premieres October 15, 2026 on Netflix. Netflix has specified that the first half of a 26-episode season arrives at launch, packaged with a two-part pilot joined into a 50-minute special — a release pattern Netflix has stated directly rather than something inferred from the trailer.
