Ramayana's International Trailer Arrives: November Cinema Dates by Country
Sony Germany lists a new Ramayana trailer. Check the current November dates for Germany, the UK, Malaysia and Italy, plus the campaign's reported new footage.

Ramayana: Rise of a Legend has begun its latest international trailer push, with a new official Sony Pictures Germany upload dated October 15. The current cinema listings put Germany, the UK and GSC’s Malaysian release on November 5, 2026, while Eagle Pictures lists November 19 for Italy.
That country-level distinction matters more than a single worldwide campaign date. The film is reaching international audiences through local distributors and cinema schedules, and those listings do not all name the same opening day.
Is the new international trailer out?
Sony Pictures Germany’s official film page links its new trailer upload, published on October 15. The verified uploader is SonyPicturesGermany. Playback availability can vary; the distributor’s film page is the direct starting point for its current campaign.
The video on Sony’s UK page is a different, earlier official upload, dated August 5. Its presence on a current film listing should not be mistaken for proof that the UK has posted the same new October video.
What has been reported about the new footage?
In its October 15 report, The Indian Express describes an earlier international TV spot featuring Kunal Kapoor’s Indra on Airavata, facing Yash’s Ravana. It also reports a campaign promo showing Ranbir Kapoor’s Rama using his bow against a large creature.
Those are the outlet’s descriptions of the campaign clips. They are separate from an independently viewed breakdown of Sony Germany’s newly uploaded trailer, and they do not establish the finished film’s scene order or ending.
When does Ramayana open in cinemas?
These are the current national listings checked on October 15, 2026:
| Market | Listed cinema date | Official local source |
|---|---|---|
| Germany | November 5, 2026 | Sony Pictures Germany |
| United Kingdom | November 5, 2026 | Sony Pictures UK |
| Malaysia | November 5, 2026 | GSC Cinemas |
| Italy | November 19, 2026 | Eagle Pictures |
Sony’s current UK page says November 5. GSC’s listing identifies Tamil audio and English subtitles, which describes that Malaysian listing rather than a promise about every international version. Individual theaters will determine their sessions, formats and available language versions.
Who is making the film?
Nitesh Tiwari directs, with Namit Malhotra producing and Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi leading the cast. Sony’s German credits name Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman for the music.
Prime Focus identifies Prime Focus Studios, DNEG and Monster Mind Creations behind the production, with Sony handling international distribution. The distributor’s synopsis centers on Rama’s confrontation with Ravana. A universal opening hour, final runtime and complete country-by-country language schedule are not established by the checked listings.
Our release calendar records the verified local dates separately. Readers in other markets should check their own distributor or cinema listing.
