Spider-Man: Brand New Day Home Release — Digital, 4K, Blu-ray and Streaming
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives for digital purchase and rental October 6. Here's what Prime Video includes, the reported December 15 disc date and subscription status.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day comes home October 6, 2026, for digital purchase and rental. Sony’s movie page is taking pre-orders, and Amazon says the film will be available to buy or rent on Prime Video that day. This is a paid home release, not an included Prime subscription premiere.
| Home viewing option | Current status |
|---|---|
| Digital purchase or rental | October 6, 2026, through participating storefronts |
| 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD | December 15, 2026, in Sony’s US home-entertainment announcement |
| Included-with-subscription streaming | No title-specific date announced in the release materials checked |
Where can you buy or rent it digitally?
Sony links to Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango at Home and Sony Pictures Core from its official movie page. Those are storefront choices, and availability, price, resolution and purchase-versus-rental options can vary by region and service. Check the listing in your country before ordering; the October 6 date is the announced home-release date, not a promise that every retailer opens at the same local hour.
Is it included with Amazon Prime?
No. Amazon describes Brand New Day as an additional-cost buy or rent title on Prime Video from October 6. It also says a Prime membership is not required to buy or rent movies there. Seeing the title inside the Prime Video app does not make it part of the subscription catalog.
When do 4K, Blu-ray and DVD arrive?
A Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announcement reproduced by No(R)eruns.net lists December 15, 2026 for 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD, including 4K/Blu-ray Steelbook editions. Sony’s public movie page offers physical pre-order links but does not display that date in its page text. Treat December 15 as the announced US physical-media date; Swedish and other regional dates, editions and disc compatibility should be checked with a local seller.
Which extras are listed?
The home-entertainment announcement lists outtakes and behind-the-scenes featurettes about the cast, direction, stunt work, the Spider-Suit and Marvel references for 4K UHD, Blu-ray and digital editions. Its DVD list is shorter: Tom Holland: Evolving Spider, Brand New Direction and Friends and Foes. That is the announced format breakdown, not a guarantee that every digital rental or storefront carries every extra. Check the product listing for the edition you plan to buy.
When will it stream with a subscription?
Sony’s current home-release page announces digital pre-orders and retailer links, while Amazon describes a paid transaction. Neither gives a title-specific included-with-subscription date. A licensing arrangement for future streaming does not establish when this film will appear in a particular country’s Netflix, Disney+ or other subscription catalog. We will update this guide when a platform announces an actual date and territory.
The digital release also does not by itself end the theatrical run. Check local cinema listings if you want to see it on a big screen.
