Ritu Arya and Tewfik Jallab Return

Arya returns as Zara Taylor, an MI6 operative, and Jallab returns as Vincent Taleb, a former French Secret Service agent — the pair whose partnership has carried both prior TV seasons. Joining them for Season 3 are Brendan Coyle and Atandwa Kani, though neither actor’s character has been detailed in official material yet.

Series creator Howard Overman writes Shadow Has Fallen, and has described it as Vincent and Zara’s most demanding and morally challenging mission yet, set largely in Southern Africa. Marco Kreuzpaintner and Alice Troughton are the directors attached, though which episodes each will handle hasn’t been specified.

Notably, StudioCanal has put Season 3 into production while Apollo Has Fallen — Season 2 — is still beginning its own rollout. Apollo premieres September 14 on Canal+ in France, with Hulu carrying it in the U.S. and Prime Video in the UK.
