Yellowjackets’ fourth and final season returns on November 20, 2026, and its new official teaser shifts attention toward the survivors’ homecoming. The date is the season premiere, not an announced date for the series finale.

Paramount Plus released the teaser on October 14; Paramount Australia’s announcement followed on October 15. The new development is the footage and its story framing, rather than a newly revealed November release date.

Watch the official final-season teaser

This is the verified original Paramount Plus US upload. Its opening includes snow-covered woodland, retaining the wilderness setting even as the promotion turns toward life after survival. The separately published Australian video has regional viewing restrictions.

Paramount’s Australian announcement describes the survivors finally returning home and carrying the consequences with them. The US season guide describes rescue approaching in the younger timeline and an old flame returning in the present-day story.

Those are promotional story descriptions, not a complete chronology. Neither establishes which episode contains the rescue, identifies every person who reaches home or resolves what the characters will disclose. A cast announcement also does not prove that every actor’s character survives every timeline.

The two timelines still matter

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, Yellowjackets follows a girls’ soccer team stranded after a plane crash and the survivors’ adult lives nearly 25 years later. A return to civilization therefore answers one physical question without automatically resolving the later consequences.

That distinction is useful when reading the teaser: homecoming and recovery are different developments. The official premise promises an aftermath, while leaving its precise events to the season. This guide avoids detailed previous-season twists and does not treat a promotional cut as the ending.

November 20: US and Australian access are separate

Both announcements give November 20. They do not establish a worldwide simultaneous unlock hour or identical subscription plans in other countries. Check the official service listing for your territory. Our release calendar already keeps the US and Australian entries separate.

Who is announced, and what is still open?

The announced ensemble includes Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher and Hilary Swank, among others. Paramount also lists guests including June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa and Dulé Hill. Guest billing does not specify episode counts or reveal a character’s role.

The checked announcements identify this as the final season, but do not establish a complete episode schedule, individual runtimes or the finale’s airdate. Those details should not be inferred from earlier seasons.
