The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 starts October 2, 2026. The first cour begins with a weekly Japanese broadcast, and Crunchyroll lists subtitled streaming from October 2 in its announced regions. The second cour is scheduled for April 2027. Crunchyroll has not posted an exact international subtitle airtime in its fall lineup.

Where can you watch Season 3?

Crunchyroll’s Fall 2026 lineup lists Season 3 for North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS and the Indian Subcontinent. That includes Europe, but it is not a claim of worldwide rights. Local catalog and subtitle choices can still vary.

The lineup gives October 2 for subtitles and marks the time TBA; its dub time is also TBA. Japan’s 11 p.m. television slot comes from the official anime broadcast page and should not be converted into a claimed Crunchyroll release clock time.

Is Season 3 split into two cours?

Yes. The official broadcast schedule says the second cour will air in April 2027. It does not give a precise April day on that page. The show is therefore a scheduled weekly broadcast with a later second part, rather than an October full-season drop.

An exact total episode count is still absent from the official pages and Crunchyroll lineup checked for this guide. A split-cour plan alone is not enough to infer how many episodes each part contains.

What is the new mystery about?

The official Season 3 introduction sets up signs of a disaster threatening the country, rumors of a mysterious woman and new responsibilities for Jinshi. Maomao notices something unusual in an everyday meal, and the story moves beyond the rear palace into the city and farther afield. That is the announced premise, without the mystery’s answers or later novel developments.

Who is making Season 3?

The official staff list credits OLM for animation, Akinori Fudesaka as director, Wataru Nakagawa as assistant director and Norihiro Naganuma for series composition. Yukiko Nakatani handles character design; the music team is Satoru Kosaki, Kevin Penkin and Arisa Okehazama.

What are the opening and ending songs?

Yorushika performs the opening song, titled “雲を抜け風下へ私だけ” in the official announcement. Eve performs the first cour’s ending song, “AIYOU,” announced with the second promotional video. Our trailer report looks more closely at that video and its Jinshi material.

The upload is linked by the anime’s own September 25 announcement. It previews the new setup and music; it does not establish the order or outcome of every event shown.

Is the December film part of Season 3?

No. The official franchise introduction describes a separate theatrical film with an original story for Japanese cinemas on December 11, 2026. That is distinct from Season 3’s April 2027 second cour. The Japanese cinema date does not establish an international theatrical or streaming date.
