Blade Runner 2099: Watch the New NYCC Trailer Before the November Premiere
Prime Video’s new Blade Runner 2099 trailer introduces Cora and Olwen’s mystery. All eight episodes arrive November 25, 2026.

Blade Runner 2099 has a new NYCC trailer, released by Prime Video on October 10. The preview arrives ahead of the limited series’ November 25, 2026 premiere, when all eight episodes will become available together.
This is the October trailer, following the earlier teaser released at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Prime Video also unveiled new teaser artwork featuring the two leads, Hunter Schafer and Michelle Yeoh, at the New York panel.

Who are Cora and Olwen?
Hunter Schafer plays Cora, a fugitive who adopts the identity of a Blade Runner in an attempt to escape a life on the run. Michelle Yeoh plays Olwen, a Replicant with only days left to live.
The official premise forces them into a partnership. Their target is a runaway carrying a secret capable of destabilizing their city. That gives the story two immediate pressures: Cora’s assumed identity and Olwen’s dwindling time, alongside the larger mystery surrounding the person they are pursuing.
How does it follow Blade Runner 2049?
The series takes place 50 years after Blade Runner 2049, in a changed Los Angeles. It advances the franchise’s timeline to 2099 and centres on Cora and Olwen.
That setting establishes a connection to the films’ world. It does not, by itself, establish appearances by Deckard or K, or explain the fate of every character from the earlier films. Viewers returning to the franchise have a new pair of leads to follow without treating speculation about returning characters as an announced cast list.
Silka Luisa is the creator and showrunner. Ridley Scott is an executive producer, while Jonathan van Tulleken directed the first two episodes. Scott’s involvement should therefore be distinguished from directing the new series.
When and where can you watch it?
Prime Video confirms all eight episodes on November 25, with a release across more than 240 countries and territories. The announced format is a complete-season launch, so viewers will not need to follow a weekly episode schedule.
The studio has not specified an exact local release hour in this announcement. Subscription access and any territory-specific restrictions should be checked through the local Prime Video service.
