What Is Devils’ Crest About?

According to Amazon Japan’s official synopsis, Yuma Ashihara and his classmates enter a test of the full-dive VR game Actual Magic. The boundary between game and reality breaks down, turning what should have been a game into a struggle to survive. That is the established setup; the studio has not confirmed every apparent event in the trailers as an episode plot point.

The anime is produced by Production I.G. Shinji Ushiro is chief director, Kenichiro Komaya directs, Eiji Umehara handles series composition, and original novel illustrator Yukiko Horiguchi is also credited with the anime’s character designs. Yuki Hayashi and Naoyuki Chikatani compose the music.

Opening and Ending Songs

Ado performs the opening, “Shinka.” Universal Music Japan confirms Soala’s “ReaL” as the ending theme and links the new promotional video. Neither song announcement changes the release date or confirms an episode count.

What Has Not Been Announced?

The official materials do not give a total episode count, a complete weekly rollout, an English dub date or local start times for each territory. The Japanese 9 p.m. announcement should not be treated as a universal release clock. Check the local Prime Video listing closer to launch for availability and timing in your region.
