JustWatch TV Is Live: Free Streaming, Plus and Rentals Explained
Compare JustWatch TV Free, Plus and Store, the verified US price, regional catalogue differences and what the limited launch means for viewers.

JustWatch TV now lets viewers watch selected films and shows inside JustWatch, alongside the service’s existing streaming search guide. The October 20, 2026 launch has three options: Free, an ad-supported library; Plus, an ad-free subscription; and Store, individual rentals. Availability and catalogues depend on the country.
This adds direct viewing rather than replacing the guide to Netflix, Disney Plus and other providers. A title appearing in a JustWatch search result does not automatically make it part of JustWatch TV’s own library.
Free, Plus and Store: what is the difference?
| Option | How you watch | Cost and important limits |
|---|---|---|
| JustWatch TV Free | A curated library supported by advertising | No subscription charge. The official Free page says viewers can watch without signing up. |
| JustWatch TV Plus | Ad-free access to a selection of films and shows, plus app features | The US page lists US$3.99 per month. It also advertises a 10% Store rental discount; rentals remain a separate purchase. |
| JustWatch TV Store | Choose a film and pay to rent it | Individual rental prices and access conditions apply. A Plus subscription does not make every Store title included. |
The current official US Free, Plus and Store pages describe those separate offers. Free therefore does not require paying for Plus.
At our October 21 check, the US Plus page also advertised a limited-time US$49.99 lifetime subscription and a seven-day trial. The page does not establish one worldwide price or an offer deadline; check current eligibility and checkout terms before subscribing. These are advertised offers, not terms we verified by completing a purchase.
Where is JustWatch TV available?
The launch is limited to selected markets, and contemporary reports disagree about the total. TheWrap’s October 20 report and Variety’s Australia/New Zealand report name the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Australia and New Zealand. The Verge reports 12 markets, rather than those 11.
That reporting is a launch footprint, not proof that all three products or the same films work in every listed country. Our October 21 check verified official Free catalogue pages for the US, UK and Australia. It does not settle a complete country-by-country matrix, including the disputed France/Switzerland coverage.
TheWrap separately identifies Store rentals at launch in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Do not apply that rental list automatically to Free or Plus. Use JustWatch’s country-specific pages and current account terms for your market; the presence of its general search guide in a country is not evidence that every JustWatch TV product is available there.
What can you watch for free?
The US Free page, checked October 21, lists examples including Green Room, Captain Fantastic, Kedi and Aftersun. These are US catalogue examples at that check, not a promise that the films will remain free or appear in every territory.
The country pages illustrate the difference: the UK description highlights Jumper, A Cure for Wellness and Love & Other Drugs, while Australia highlights The Red Turtle and Colossal. Check the actual title’s offer in your country before relying on a launch graphic or another market’s list.
What changes for existing JustWatch users?
JustWatch continues to help locate films across other services. JustWatch TV adds its own direct-viewing options through the website, mobile and TV apps, according to the company’s product pages and launch reporting.
The practical distinction is the provider attached to the film: JustWatch TV Free, Plus or Store describes a particular offer. A result pointing to another streamer still follows that provider’s access rules. Start with the official JustWatch TV hub, select your country, and distinguish the free library from subscription and rental offers. Our TV & Streaming coverage follows other service and release changes.
