Phantom Blade Zero Launch Trailer Confirms 2027 PS5 Physical Release
Watch Phantom Blade Zero’s official launch trailer, check the October 29 digital launch and preload times, and separate the 2027 PS5 disc-release plans.

Phantom Blade Zero has an official launch trailer ahead of its October 29, 2026 release on PS5 and PC. S-GAME’s original upload also confirms a separate PS5 physical edition in 2027, giving disc buyers a different timetable from the imminent digital launch.
The trailer was published on October 21 in Pacific Time — October 22 in UTC and Japan — and is now available on the game’s own channel. This is the launch video, separate from August’s longer State of Play presentation.

The publisher’s three-minute, twelve-second video presents its kungfu action setting ahead of release. S-GAME describes the game around cinematic martial-arts speed and its “Kungfupunk” world; 4Gamer’s October 22 report highlights confrontations between protagonist Soul and the enemies blocking his path.
The video is a promotional look at the game. It does not establish a review verdict, tested performance or how difficult the finished release will feel. For the previously announced systems, see our State of Play report on difficulty options, weapons and the connected world.
Release and preload times
The description on S-GAME’s original upload gives both preload and launch times. Converting its Beijing and Pacific listings to UTC produces this schedule:
| Event | Publisher’s schedule in UTC | Platform context |
|---|---|---|
| Preload | October 27, 2026 at 02:00 UTC | Announced in the launch video’s description; check the relevant storefront for download access |
| Digital launch | October 29, 2026 at 02:00 UTC | Publisher’s stated launch time; the PS5 Store independently lists the same hour |
| PS5 physical edition | 2027 | Separate from the October digital launch; no exact day given |
The PlayStation Store specifically lists October 29 at 02:00 UTC for PS5. S-GAME’s official site also lists October 29 and links the PC editions on Steam and Epic. A publisher schedule does not by itself confirm that a particular account can already preload or that every PC storefront has separately posted the same unlock notice.
Preload is the download window, not permission to start playing early. The calendar dates also explain why the publisher’s Pacific listings fall on October 26 and October 28 respectively.
What is confirmed about the PS5 disc release?
The 2027 physical-release plan comes directly from the publisher’s video description. The more detailed edition breakdown is reported by 4Gamer: Standard, Deluxe and an Ultimate edition with a steelbook case.
That report does not establish a worldwide retail rollout, an exact shipping date or confirmed prices for every market. The physical labels also should not be treated as interchangeable with the Standard and Digital Deluxe choices on S-GAME’s current digital product page. Readers who specifically want a disc should follow the 2027 announcement rather than assume the October digital launch includes one.
