Phantom Blade Zero’s PC minimum is 16GB of RAM, a GTX 1660 6GB or Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB, and 145GB of free space on an SSD. Those specifications come directly from the publisher’s Steam store listing. The listed minimum targets 1080p at 30fps with upscaling enabled, not a guaranteed native-resolution frame rate.

The game launched in late October 2026 for PS5 and PC. S-GAME’s official website now says Available Now, while Steam displays October 28 in its storefront and S-GAME lists October 29. Those dates reflect different display markets and clocks, not necessarily separate platform launches.

These are the developer’s published requirements, checked on October 29, not results of independent testing by Red Reactions. In particular, the recommended 1440p target is not labeled as a path-tracing benchmark. Actual results will depend on graphics settings, drivers, hardware and the scene being rendered.

Steam specifies an SSD in both tiers. The 145GB value refers to available disk space; it should not be interpreted as an exact final installed-file size or a guarantee that a completely full drive can handle future updates.

What DLSS 4.5 adds on PC

NVIDIA confirmed on October 28 that Phantom Blade Zero supports advanced RTX rendering options on compatible PC hardware.

DLSS Super Resolution reconstructs the output image from lower-resolution rendering. Ray Reconstruction improves reconstruction of ray- and path-traced lighting using a learned approach to noise reduction. NVIDIA says path tracing automatically activates Ray Reconstruction on supported GeForce RTX GPUs.

Dynamic Multi Frame Generation can generate additional display frames on compatible hardware, including a target-frame-rate mode. It does not mean the underlying game simulation or input responsiveness increases by exactly the displayed frame multiplier. NVIDIA also lists Reflex, claiming latency reductions of up to 49% under its test conditions. That percentage is a manufacturer claim, not a measured result for every system.

Not every RTX generation supports every listed feature. A GeForce GTX 1660 meeting the game’s minimum requirements does not gain RTX-only features merely because NVIDIA advertises them for the PC release.

Ray tracing versus path tracing

Conventional ray tracing selectively improves reflections, shadows and lighting. NVIDIA describes the game’s PC-exclusive path-tracing option as a more comprehensive solution, including more realistic indirect illumination and water caustics. The stronger lighting effects can be demanding; the technical announcement is not evidence of a universal recommended graphics preset or stable frame rate.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play with 8GB RAM? Not according to the published requirements: both listed PC tiers specify 16GB.

Can I install it on a hard disk? Steam explicitly says an SSD is required.

Do I need DLSS to launch the game? No. The publisher lists AMD and GTX hardware among the minimum choices. Advanced NVIDIA features are optional enhancements for supported GeForce RTX devices.

Does the recommended RTX 3060 Ti guarantee 1440p at 60fps with path tracing enabled? No. Steam’s recommended performance target includes upscaling but does not specify that path tracing is enabled.
