Star Wars: Galactic Racer is scheduled to launch worldwide on October 6, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Fuse Games develops the racer, with Secret Mode publishing. PC versions are listed on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The date is confirmed by Lucasfilm’s official story announcement. The platform-specific unlock information needs a closer look before you plan your first race.

Release time: Sweden’s PS5 listing

The Swedish PlayStation Store lists October 6 at 09:00 UTC, which is 11:00 CEST in Sweden. That is the PS5 listing’s time; it should not be applied to Xbox, Steam or Epic.

At our October 6 pre-launch check, PlayStation and Steam still displayed pre-order listings. Xbox’s product page also retained a pre-order edition. These listings establish the scheduled launch, rather than a universal claim that every version is already playable.

For PC, use the current Steam page or Epic listing. Their regional purchase pages are the appropriate place to check your version’s availability.

Single-player, cross-play and multiplayer

Steam lists single-player, online PvP and cross-platform multiplayer. Xbox’s listing identifies 2–12 online players and cross-platform multiplayer. PS5 lists support for up to 12 online players, with PS Plus required for online play.

These are storefront capabilities, not a guarantee that every mode fills a 12-player lobby. They also do not establish cross-save, cross-progression or local split-screen support.

Campaign, Scenario and Arcade

Lucasfilm identifies Campaign, Scenario and Arcade modes. The solo campaign follows Shade through a branching sequence of races: repeated crashes can end a tour, while some earned perks and unlocks carry into another attempt.

The story begins in the Outer Rim after the Empire’s fall. Shade wants to challenge League champion Kestar Bool and has a grudge against the Bool family. Mechanic Hibi and returning podracer Sebulba are part of the setup.

The official game site lists four vehicle classes: skim speeders, speeder bikes, landspeeders and podracers, with different handling and play styles.

Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s Editions

Secret Mode’s edition announcement distinguishes the base game from the bonus content and physical collectibles.

EditionWhat it includes
StandardThe base game.
DeluxeThree exclusive vehicles, Deluxe liveries, three Arcade events, a multiplayer player-banner pack and digital art book. The official edition page restricts the steel case and sleeve to physical copies.
Collector’sThe game and Deluxe digital content, a landspeeder model, physical art book, two pilot patches, Kestar Bool banner, steel case, slip cover and collector’s packaging.

The Swedish PS5 store lists Standard at 649 SEK and Deluxe at 899 SEK at our check. These are regional digital prices, not worldwide prices or confirmation of physical stock.

PC minimum requirements and DRM

Steam currently lists the following minimum requirements:

ComponentMinimum
OSWindows 10
CPUIntel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Memory12 GB RAM
GPUNvidia RTX 2060, Intel Arc A580 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB
Storage50 GB available space; SSD required

Steam also lists Denuvo Anti-Tamper, with a five-machine activation limit. Its current page does not provide recommended specifications; Epic’s recommended fields remain TBC. Do not treat the minimum list as a promised frame rate or a final performance assessment.
