RV There Yet? Sets October 29 PS5 and Switch 2 Launch With Cross-Play
RV There Yet? targets PS5 and Switch 2 on October 29 with PC and Xbox cross-play announced. Check the rollout, existing release dates and unresolved details.

RV There Yet? is scheduled for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 29, 2026, with cross-play announced for the existing PC and Xbox Series versions. Gematsu’s October 21 report cites developer Nuggets Entertainment’s reveal. This describes the planned new-console rollout, rather than a check that those versions or their cross-play are already live.
Which platforms are included in the plan?
| Platform | Release chronology | Cross-play status in this announcement |
|---|---|---|
| PC via Steam | Released October 21, 2025 | Named in the planned cross-play group |
| Xbox Series X|S / Microsoft Store PC | Released June 30, 2026 | Named in the planned cross-play group |
| PlayStation 5 | Scheduled October 29, 2026 | Announced for the new rollout |
| Nintendo Switch 2 | Scheduled October 29, 2026 | Announced for the new rollout |
The official Steam page confirms the original PC date, while Xbox’s product page records June 30, 2026 and Xbox Series X|S/PC support. Those existing listings do not determine the PS5 or Switch 2 prices.
Nuggets Entertainment’s original announcement video is below. Its release-date and cross-play plans should be checked again against the relevant store and game version at launch.
Cross-play does not establish cross-buy or cross-save
The announcement concerns playing together across platforms. It does not specify the complete invitation process, whether another account is required, or how save transfers might work. There is no basis here to promise shared purchases or transferable progress between PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox.
Xbox lists Xbox Play Anywhere for its own supported purchase ecosystem. That is not evidence that buying the game there supplies a PS5 or Switch 2 copy. PS4 and the original Nintendo Switch are not among the new platforms named; their absence is not a statement about every possible future port.
What do players do in RV There Yet?
Nuggets’ game is a cooperative road trip for up to four players, trying to get an RV through Mabutts Valley and back toward Route 65. The vehicle has front and rear winches, making cooperation and keeping the RV moving central to the premise. The screenshot here is from the existing Steam gallery, not evidence of new-console graphics or performance.
The sources checked do not establish a universal unlock hour, every territory’s store listing, PS5/Switch 2 subscription inclusion or console-specific pricing. Consult the appropriate official store for your country as launch approaches. Our release calendar records the announced October 29 ports, and Gaming coverage follows subsequent platform changes.
