Netflix has confirmed five additional actors for its Korean live-action Solo Leveling, following its earlier announcement of Byeon Woo-seok as Sung Jinwoo. The October 6 cast release names Han So-hee as Cha Hae-in. It gives no premiere date.

Who plays whom?

ActorCharacterNetflix’s description and billing
Byeon Woo-seokSung JinwooPreviously announced protagonist
Han So-heeCha Hae-inKorea’s sole female S-rank Hunter; longsword fighter
Kang You-seokYoo JinhoC-rank Hunter from the Yoojin Group family; Jinwoo’s dungeon ally
Sung JoonWoo JinchulA-rank Hunter; Hunters Association Surveillance Team chief inspector
Lee Sung-minGo GunheeHunters Association chairman; special appearance
Jung Ji-hoonBaek YoonhoS-rank White Tiger Guild leader; special appearance

Special appearance is a billing distinction, not a promise of how many episodes an actor will appear in. The announcement does not establish the final cast’s screen time or adaptation endpoint. Actor and character names also should not be read as confirmation of a particular anime arc.

Cast context without later-story spoilers

Netflix describes Cha Hae-in through her Hunter status and sword fighting. Jinho’s relationship with Jinwoo begins through a dungeon quest, while Jinchul’s work connects the lead to the association overseeing Hunters. These are introductory character descriptors, not evidence of new live-action footage or a complete plot.

Netflix also says Han Dong-wook joins as co-director. Joining a directing team does not, by itself, announce that earlier directors have left.

When will Netflix release it?

Netflix’s checked announcement says it is coming soon; it supplies no date or final episode count. A reported year or episode total should not be placed in a release calendar as an official schedule. No confirmed live-action trailer accompanies the material verified here, so none is embedded.

The October 6 news is the additional cast announcement, rather than the original reveal of the lead. This is a live-action Netflix series, not an anime-season renewal. Our Solo Leveling: KARMA report covers a separate Netmarble game, whose trailers do not show this adaptation.

For viewers tracking the eventual premiere, the useful next announcement will be Netflix’s release schedule and first verified live-action footage. Browse TV & Streaming for subsequent coverage.
