BINGE has unveiled the first look at Wentworth: Halfway Home and named nine additions to its cast. The October 26, 2026 announcement brings Katrina Milosevic’s Boomer back into focus, with a late-2026 Australian premiere window on BINGE and Foxtel. An exact launch day has not been announced.

The reveal arrived on the fifth anniversary of the original Wentworth finale. It offers a clearer introduction to the sequel’s setting and ensemble without settling when viewers outside Australia will be able to watch.

Boomer’s life after prison

The official Foxtel Group announcement places a newly paroled Boomer at Sal’s Halfway House. She wants to regain custody of her daughter, but the discovery of a body makes her new surroundings harder to trust.

That is the announced premise. It establishes the move beyond prison and the mystery facing Boomer, without identifying a killer or explaining how the story resolves. Production is underway in Melbourne.

Returning characters and the expanded cast

Milosevic returns as Susan “Boomer” Jenkins, alongside Nicole da Silva as Franky Doyle and Kate Box as Lou Kelly.

The nine newly named performers are Nadine Garner, Elaine Crombie, Grace Chow, Sara West, Claude Jabbour, Daniel Henshall, Laura Gordon, Thom Green and Chika Ikogwe. Their roles are not assigned in the October 26 cast announcement.

As Variety’s report also confirms, the previously announced newcomers are Rachel Griffiths as Moira, Sophie Lowe as Sam, Alex King as Dee and Chenile Chandler as Lily. These are separate groups: returning original characters, previously announced newcomers and the latest nine additions.

Release window and international availability

Late 2026 applies to BINGE and Foxtel in Australia. The announcement gives no exact spin-off premiere day, episode count or launch hour. Fremantle handles international sales, but a sales arrangement does not establish a streaming platform or release date in another territory.

The original Wentworth is separately due on BINGE from November 11, 2026, as part of the Australian announcement. That date concerns the original series; it is not the spin-off’s premiere date or a worldwide streaming offer.
