USA Network has renewed Anna Pigeon for Season 2. The October 7 announcement came before the first-season finale, which airs Friday, October 9, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network. A second-season premiere date and book storyline have not been announced.

What is confirmed about Season 2?

QuestionConfirmed position
Has the series been renewed?Yes: USA Network announced Season 2 on October 7.
When does Season 1 end?October 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network.
When does Season 2 premiere? No date or release year was announced.
Which book will it adapt? The renewal announcement does not identify a novel.
How many episodes will Season 2 have?No count was announced; Season 1’s order was ten episodes.

That finale time describes the U.S. broadcast. It does not establish when an episode appears on a streaming service or becomes available in Sweden.

Tracy Spiridakos and the returning creative team

Tracy Spiridakos plays Anna, a national-park ranger who investigates crimes while dealing with a personal loss. The series adapts Nevada Barr’s mystery novels.

The renewal release identifies Morwyn Brebner as showrunner and Lea Thompson as director and executive producer. USA Network’s accompanying statement says it will continue Anna’s story with Spiridakos, Brebner and Thompson. That establishes the central team named in the announcement; it is not a complete Season 2 cast list.

The first season also features Paulina Alexis and Ronnie Rowe. Their inclusion in the release’s Season 1 cast list should not be read as individual Season 2 casting confirmations.

What the audience figures actually mean

USA Network reports an average of 2.35 million viewers within seven days of the premiere, describing it as the channel’s strongest original scripted premiere in nearly eight years. It also says Anna Pigeon reached 18 million viewers across its run.

These are the network’s figures. The 18 million number is cumulative reach, not an average audience of 18 million for each episode; neither number is an independently audited global streaming total.

Release date, books and where to watch

As of October 8, the renewal release gives no filming start, Season 2 episode count or premiere date. It does not confirm an adaptation of A Superior Death. Book order alone cannot establish the television production’s next storyline.

USA Network is the confirmed U.S. broadcaster. The release names Cineflix Rights as the international distribution partner outside the U.S.; that is not a Swedish streaming deal. A Swedish streaming home and availability on Netflix, Hulu, Peacock or Disney+ have not been verified here.
