Charisma Anime Sets January 7 Premiere, Shorts Begin November 4
Charisma begins its main TV run on January 7, 2027 in Japan. Separate shorts start November 4. See the official teaser, new cast and streaming limits.

The Charisma TV anime premieres in Japan on January 7, 2027, at 23:56 JST, with separate shorts arriving earlier on November 4. The official November 1 announcement also introduces a teaser showing footage from the main anime and adds two cast members.
The dates refer to different productions. The January series has a simultaneous broadcast across 28 TBS-affiliated stations; the November shorts appear within a TBS variety program. Neither announcement names an international streaming service.
January TV series or November shorts: which starts when?
| Production | Confirmed Japan schedule |
|---|---|
| Main Charisma TV anime | Thursdays from January 7, 2027, at 23:56 JST on 28 TBS-affiliated stations. |
| Short-format Charisma anime | From November 4, 2026, within Yoru no Brunch, which airs on TBS on Wednesdays from 23:56 JST. |
The short-anime notice explicitly places those shorts ahead of the January TV series. The program’s start time is not a separately announced exact time for the short segment. Watching a November short will therefore not mean the main series has begun.

The video comes from the franchise’s Charisma Official Channel. The new announcement describes the seven central characters’ chaotic everyday life; it is a teaser, rather than an episode released for streaming.
Who are the new cast members?
The production adds Shinnosuke Tachibana as Soemon Nakagami and Tomohiro Ohno as Hiiragi Torame. Those character names follow the official anime site’s English cast listing, which prints Japanese family names first.
The same site credits Joji Furuta as director, Shu Matsubara with series structure and scripts, and PIERROT FILMS with animation production. Its introduction centers on seven men sharing Charisma House while pursuing their individual ideas of charisma.
Is there a preview screening or an overseas streamer?
A December 6 preview event at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas in Tokyo will screen episodes 1 and 2, with a planned cast appearance. This is an in-person early screening, separate from the January television premiere.
The current official on-air page lists the Japanese television schedule. An overseas platform, international simulcast timetable and English-language release have not been named in these announcements. The November shorts and December cinema event do not establish those rights or availability.
