Runway to Ruin, DC GO!‘s first crossover, is scheduled to begin October 1, 2026 with Runway to Ruin Alpha and end October 29 with Omega. Five existing mobile-first series connect to the event. DC says every event episode will be free with registration on DC Universe Infinite, where the service is available.

What is Runway to Ruin?

DC’s announced premise pulls characters into an intergalactic fashion showcase. A new villain called King Cringe uses their embarrassing memories against them, bringing Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Jon Kent, Billy Batson and others together. That is the official setup, not an account of how the story ends.

Alpha and Omega are both written by Patrick R. Young with art by Andrew Drilon. DC describes the crossover as a month-long connection between five DC GO! originals, rather than a separate print event readers have to buy in five volumes.

Where can you read it, and what is free?

Start at the DC GO! hub on DC Universe Infinite and look for Runway to Ruin Alpha when the October 1 release appears. DC says all event episodes can be read free after registration. An account is therefore required, and DC Universe Infinite is not available in every country.

That free-access statement is about the crossover episodes. DC has not said that every older chapter of the five participating series or the upcoming print collections is free. Check the access label on the specific DCUI page in your region.

Which five DC GO! series connect to the event?

DC names these series and creative teams in its event announcement:

SeriesWriterArtist
Nothing Butt NightwingPatrick R. YoungMoy R. Marco
Harley Quinn in ParadiseCRC PayneNatalie Nardozza
Warriors and a Wee WonderStephanie WilliamsCarola Borelli
Jon Kent: This Internship Is My KryptoniteSam CampSeraji
The Magical Mysteries of Shazam!Steve OrlandoGiopota

The links lead to the existing series pages on DCUI. They are useful for character background, but DC has not said that readers must finish all five series before the crossover.

What is the reading order?

  1. Begin with Runway to Ruin Alpha, dated October 1. This is the announced opening chapter.
  2. Follow the event chapters in the five connected series as DCUI publishes and labels them.
  3. Finish with Runway to Ruin Omega, dated October 29.

DC’s announcement does not give a numbered order for the intervening chapters or exact release dates for each one. Use DCUI’s event navigation if it supplies a more detailed sequence; a chapter-by-chapter order would be guesswork until then.

What follows the crossover?

DC says November will bring three new DC GO! originals: Supergirl: Accidental Chef!, Green Lanterns: Bad Boys for Light and Finding My GCPD Dad a Girlfriend. Two continuations are also planned: Poison Ivy in Briarwood, which follows Harley Quinn in Paradise, and Warriors and a ‘Tween Wonder, which follows Warriors and a Wee Wonder. Further chapters of the Jon Kent, Shazam and Nightwing series are on the slate too. DC has not attached exact November days to this group in the event announcement.

Separately, the first print collections of Nothing Butt Nightwing Vol. 1, Harley Quinn in Paradise Vol. 1 and Renaissance of Raven are scheduled for October 6. They are optional print editions, not steps in the Runway to Ruin event order.
