Absolute Catwoman is now a 12-issue limited series. DC announced the extension on October 27, 2026, adding six installments to the original plan. Che Grayson and Bengal return for issues #7–12 in 2027. It is a confirmed expansion, with no issue-by-issue 2027 timetable yet published.

Who is making the additional issues?

DC names Grayson and Bengal for the extension. The first six issues were announced with Che Grayson and Scott Snyder writing and Bengal providing art. Those original credits remain part of the series’ history; they do not establish that Snyder has been confirmed to co-write every additional installment.

The original announcement was published February 18, 2026, ahead of the June launch. It described a six-issue series. October 27 is the date DC enlarged that plan, rather than the first announcement of the book.

When is Absolute Catwoman #4 due?

DC’s issue #4 listing gives November 4, 2026 as its scheduled U.S. on-sale date, matching the extension release. As of this report, that is still an upcoming issue. Check local comic shops and participating digital retailers for their own availability.

That date applies to #4. DC has not supplied an exact day for #7 or a complete schedule for #7–12. The additional six issues belong to the announced 2027 window, without an invented January starting date or collected-edition promise.

What changes for readers following the Absolute line?

The publishing change is the length of Selina Kyle’s series: readers should plan for twelve issues rather than six. The extension does not create six new #1 issues or a separate reading order.

For the line’s wider premise, use our Absolute Universe explainer. For where Selina’s book fits alongside the other titles, see the DC Absolute Universe reading order. Those guides retain the distinction between an intended reading sequence and the sale date of an upcoming issue.

This report covers the publishing decision and creative credits. It does not reveal the story developments in Absolute Batman #25 referenced by DC’s announcement.
