Ebenezer Trailer 2: Cast, Ghost Story and November 13 Release

Paramount’s second trailer for Ebenezer is out, with Johnny Depp as Scrooge in Ti West’s adaptation of A Christmas Carol. The official video was published on October 1, 2026, ahead of the film’s November 13 U.S. theatrical release.

This is the new October trailer, following the earlier July reveal. Watch the verified Paramount upload below.

A Christmas ghost story comes forward

Paramount’s trailer description emphasizes the arrival of the spirits. Variety’s report on this second trailer highlights Scrooge’s ghostly encounters and an image of him being buried alive.

That gives readers a clearer sense of the marketing’s darker supernatural emphasis than a Christmas release date alone would suggest. It does not establish the film’s age rating or justify reconstructing a complete plot from isolated shots. Paramount’s published description remains a brief introduction rather than a detailed account of every change to Dickens’ story.

For another upcoming supernatural period movie, our Werwulf trailer guide covers Robert Eggers’ separate December release.

Who plays Scrooge, Marley and the spirits?

Depp is Ebenezer Scrooge. TheWrap’s July casting coverage identifies these other roles:

Paramount’s current video description also names Daisy Ridley, Arthur Conti, Ellie Bamber, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Charlie Murphy. The cast list should not be used to guess an unannounced performer for every spirit or unnamed figure in the footage.

When does Ebenezer come out?

November 13, 2026, in U.S. theaters. Paramount’s CinemaCon announcement established the date, and the October trailer repeats it. The film also appeared there under the fuller title Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol.

That date should not be assumed to apply to every country. The verified announcements do not provide a complete international rollout, a streaming premiere or digital and disc release dates. Check our release calendar for the sourced U.S. cinema entry.
