Landman Season 3 Starts Production as Four Actors Become Series Regulars
Landman Season 3 is filming in Fort Worth. Paramount confirms four cast promotions and returning stars, while a premiere date remains unannounced.

Landman Season 3 has started production in Fort Worth, Texas. Paramount+ announced the milestone on October 1, alongside promotions for four returning actors: Colm Feore, Mustafa Speaks, Bobbi Salvor Menuez and Francesca Xuereb.
The announcement establishes that the next season is being made. It does not provide a premiere date, so production news should not be mistaken for a release announcement.
The four actors becoming series regulars
Paramount names the actors; TVLine’s report identifies their returning characters:
- Colm Feore — Nathan, the former MTex lawyer.
- Mustafa Speaks — Boss, the crew chief.
- Bobbi Salvor Menuez — Paigyn, Ainsley’s college roommate.
- Francesca Xuereb — Cheyenne, whose real name is Penny.
These are promotions within the existing ensemble. Series-regular status establishes their place in the cast, without confirming episode-by-episode appearances or how much screen time their characters will receive. The announcement does not explain why each actor was promoted.
Who Paramount confirms is returning
Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter and Sam Elliott remain among the series’ stars. Paramount also lists Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie and James Jordan.
Michael Kelly joins the cast this season, following his previously announced casting. His addition and the four promotions are separate developments; the October release does not present Kelly as replacing another performer.
Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace co-created Landman. Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions produce the series, whose broader setting remains the oil boomtowns of West Texas. That fictional setting is separate from Fort Worth, the production location named in the announcement.
Does Season 3 have a premiere date?
The October 1 announcement gives no premiere date. It also supplies no detailed Season 3 synopsis or filming-completion schedule. For now, the confirmed update is production underway, with an expanded regular cast. A dated return to Paramount+ remains unannounced.
