Small Prophets Trailer: Apple TV's October 7 Premiere and UK Exception
Mackenzie Crook's six-part comedy Small Prophets comes to Apple TV October 7 with two episodes, outside the UK. Watch the official trailer and see the weekly schedule.
Apple TV premieres Small Prophets on October 7, 2026, with two episodes outside the UK. The six-part comedy then adds one episode each Wednesday through November 4. Viewers in the UK already had the series on BBC Two and iPlayer; Apple says it will reach UK Apple TV subscribers in 2027, without an exact date yet.
What is Small Prophets about?
Pearce Quigley plays Michael Sleep, whose partner Clea disappeared seven years earlier. Michael’s father Brian (Michael Palin) gives him an unusual recipe for homunculi: little beings said to predict the future. Michael hopes they can answer the question he has lived with since Clea vanished. Lauren Patel plays his coworker Kacey, Mackenzie Crook plays store manager Gordon, and Sophie Willan and Jon Pointing play curious neighbors.
Crook created, wrote and directed the series. It first aired in the UK on BBC Two and iPlayer earlier in 2026. Apple’s trailer introduces the backyard experiment and the mix of everyday life with animation, but it does not resolve Clea’s disappearance.
