Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed is returning for Season 2. Apple TV confirmed the renewal on October 14, 2026, announcing another season of David J. Rosen’s dark comedy thriller starring Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson.

The renewal gives Paula’s investigation a continuation, but viewers still have a wait for a release announcement: Apple has not announced a Season 2 premiere date. A reported filming window offers an indication of the production’s next step, rather than a date to put in a streaming calendar.

What has Apple confirmed?

Apple’s official announcement confirms the second-season order and identifies Rosen as creator and showrunner, with Maslany and Johnson starring. Rosen also writes and executive produces the series; David Gordon Green is its director and an executive producer.

The show’s starting point is Paula, played by Maslany, a newly divorced mother navigating a custody dispute and a personal crisis. Believing she has witnessed a crime, she starts investigating. That search draws her into a conspiracy involving blackmail and murder, alongside the pressures of parenting and youth soccer.

That is the established premise. Apple has not supplied a detailed Season 2 synopsis, an episode count or a breakdown of how the next season resolves the first season’s story.

When could Season 2 arrive?

There is no announced premiere date or release window in Apple’s renewal notice. TheWrap reports that the writers’ room is underway and production is scheduled for the first half of 2027.

That timing is TheWrap’s reporting about production. It does not establish a 2027 release, a specific filming start day or a simultaneous worldwide streaming launch. Apple has yet to set those viewing details.

Who is in the cast?

Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson are named in Apple’s renewal announcement. The established first-season ensemble also includes Murray Bartlett, Dolly De Leon, Brandon Flynn, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg and Nola Wallace.

Those ensemble credits describe the existing series. They should not be read as a separate, complete confirmation that every character returns in Season 2, or as a list of newly announced additions.

Where can you watch Season 1?

Apple says the complete first season is streaming globally on Apple TV. The official series listing is the place to check access for your account and territory.

For now, the confirmed news is the renewal itself. Season 2’s premiere, episode count and fuller story details remain unannounced. The renewal notice and production report were checked on October 15, 2026.
