MTG Star Trek Product Delays: Which Decks and Boosters Are Affected?
Wizards warns of regional MTG Star Trek delays for Commander decks and premium products. Check the affected languages, regions and November milestones.

Selected Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek products may arrive late, but Wizards has not postponed the whole set. Its October 16 notice says Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs remain on track. The warning concerns other products and varies by region, language and edition.
Which products may be delayed?
Two dates matter: November 6, when prerelease begins, and November 13, the tabletop release. In the table, “after” describes a possible late arrival, not a new delivery appointment.
| Region | Affected products | May arrive after |
|---|---|---|
| North America | Commander decks | November 13 |
| Europe, Middle East and Africa | English, French and German Collector Boosters | November 13 |
| Europe, Middle East and Africa | French and German Commander decks | November 6 |
| Europe, Middle East and Africa | Collector’s Edition Commander decks | November 6; further quantities after November 13 |
| Europe, Middle East and Africa | English Commander decks, Draft Night, Scene Boxes, Beam Me Up Bundles | November 13 |
| Asia-Pacific | Collector Boosters, Omega Collector Boosters, Bundles, Beam Me Up Bundles, Draft Night | November 13 |
| New Zealand | Scene Boxes, in addition to applicable Asia-Pacific products | November 13 |
Wizards describes the situation as changing and directs readers to their individual stores for current estimates. The notice does not give replacement arrival dates or guarantee which shops will have stock.
Check the edition as well as the product name
The official collecting guide lists regular Commander decks and Collector’s Edition Commander decks separately. It also distinguishes Bundles from Beam Me Up Bundles. Treating those names as interchangeable can put a product in the wrong row.
Omega Collector Boosters are single Collector Boosters sold at larger retailers, according to the delay notice. They are not Play Boosters, the format Wizards says remains on schedule.
The pictured Federation Fleet box identifies one regular Commander product. Its Picard artwork is product packaging, not a photograph of a shipment or evidence of a particular shop’s supply.
What remains on the release calendar?
Wizards’ collecting guide lists prerelease events for November 6–12, the MTG Arena release for November 10, and the tabletop release for November 13, 2026. These are different milestones: a digital release date cannot answer when a physical Commander deck reaches a store.
Before making plans, ask a retailer about the exact product, language and edition, and whether its estimate reflects the latest notice. The official store locator can help find a game store; it does not itself confirm inventory.
For the separate October reveal calendar, see our Star Trek card and Commander preview schedule. A scheduled preview is not a delivery promise.
Last checked October 18, 2026. Wizards says it will update its original delay notice as more information becomes available.
