Draw This, Then Die! Season 2 Is in Production After the First Finale

Draw This, Then Die! is getting a second anime season. The official series site now displays a production announcement and new art showing Ai Yasumi holding Pokota with a large “2” on its belly. The announcement followed the end of the first season on September 25, 2026. It confirms production, but does not set a premiere date.

What Has Been Announced for Season 2?

The new visual and second-season confirmation are the concrete news. The series follows Ai and her school manga club as they learn to create comics; it adapts Minoru Toyoda’s manga. The official site’s season-one credits name Shin-Ei Animation as animation studio, Hiroaki Akagi as director and Yuko Fukuda for series composition. Those are confirmed credits for the first season; a complete second-season staff list has not been separately established here.

The first season ran for 12 episodes and ended with its September 25 finale. That does not establish the second season’s length or which chapters it will cover. Readers should wait for a new staff, cast and schedule announcement before assuming the first season’s format repeats exactly.
