Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires is getting a television anime. TMS Entertainment announced the adaptation of Miki Yoshikawa’s manga on October 31, 2026, alongside its first teaser illustration. A premiere date, release window and main voice cast have not yet been announced.

The project brings the creator of A Couple of Cuckoos and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches into a darker household comedy: a boy finally finds a family, then discovers that everyone else in the house is a vampire.

What has actually been confirmed?

The TMS announcement identifies the format as a TV anime. The official site credits UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS with planning and production and identifies Yoshikawa’s manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine as the source.

That is a production credit, rather than a complete animation-staff announcement. The launch materials do not identify a director or the studio responsible for the animation itself. They also do not announce an international streaming service, an English dub or a Japanese broadcast slot.

Those distinctions matter if you are deciding where to follow the series. The anime is confirmed; a particular platform or a 2027 premiere should not be treated as confirmed simply because the announcement arrives late in 2026.

Who are Shota and the Hiragi family?

Shota Minamoto is a junior-high student living in a children’s home. A family in an impressive Japanese-style residence takes him in, initially offering the welcome he has been missing. At night, someone attacks him and drinks his blood.

The official introduction builds the story around the resulting question: has Shota been accepted as family, or brought home as food? His new household includes three vampire sisters, making the home itself the setting for the romantic comedy and its supernatural danger.

The first anime illustration shows Yukie, the second sister, close to Shota’s neck beneath moonlight. It is announcement artwork, rather than an episode screenshot or evidence of finished animation.

Can you read the manga in English?

Kodansha’s authorized K MANGA service has an English listing under the title Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires. Its Japanese title is Hiiragi-san Chi no Kyuketsu Jijo (柊さんちの吸血事情), so the different spellings refer to the same work.

The listing verifies an English digital edition; it does not establish an English print edition or identical service access in every country. Check the service’s availability and reading terms in your region before planning a purchase.

The official anime site also lists Japanese volume seven for December 16, 2026. That is a manga publication date, not the anime’s release date.

For another recently announced adaptation update, our Our Last Crusade Season III report explains its separate production announcement and returning cast. Neither announcement supplies the missing broadcast details for Hiragi-san’s House of Vampires.
