Dr. STONE TERRAFORMING Anime Announced: What Comes After the Finale

Dr. STONE is continuing after its television finale. Announced on October 10, 2026, Dr. STONE TERRAFORMING will adapt the post-story one-shot collected in manga volume 27. A release date and the project’s format have not been announced.

TMS Entertainment’s English announcement identifies STONE FES.2026 as the reveal event and confirms that the source chapter takes place after the main story. That makes this an epilogue adaptation, rather than confirmation of a regular fifth television season.

What TERRAFORMING adapts

The official Japanese announcement says the television series reached its finale on June 25, 2026. The new project follows that completed storyline through the separately identified TERRAFORMING episode.

The announcement names that one-shot specifically. It does not announce an adaptation of every story in volume 27 or establish that the separate 4D Science material is included. Readers can understand the production news without learning the epilogue’s plot or the main series’ ending.
