MobLand Season 2 Returns September 18 as Tom Hardy's Future Clears Up
MobLand Season 2 premieres September 18 on Paramount+, while Tom Hardy is now set to return if the crime drama moves forward with Season 3.

MobLand is heading back to Paramount+ on September 18, 2026, with Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren returning for another round of Harrigan family warfare.
Paramount+ has confirmed that Season 2 runs for 10 episodes, with new episodes arriving every Friday. The new season picks up with the Harrigan empire fractured as rival factions close in, leaving Hardy’s fixer Harry Da Souza trying to stop the family from collapsing from within.
A new Season 2 trailer released on August 13 pushes that conflict even harder, showing Harry warning that the Harrigans are in serious trouble as violence escalates around Conrad and Maeve.
Tom Hardy’s MobLand Future Has Changed Since May
The more complicated story sits beyond Season 2.
Production on the second season wrapped in March 2026, before reports emerged that Hardy had fallen out with executive producer and writer Jez Butterworth, 101 Studios and others involved with the production. Variety initially reported that Hardy would not return for a potential third season, but later clarified that he had not been officially fired and that discussions were continuing.
By July, the situation had shifted again. Variety reported that Hardy and the production team met in London to work through their differences, with Hardy set to return if MobLand moved forward with Season 3.
Update: It has. Paramount+ officially renewed MobLand for Season 3 on September 3, per Deadline, confirming Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren will all return — just two weeks ahead of the Season 2 premiere.
Who Is Back for MobLand Season 2?
Alongside Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren, Paramount+ lists Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones in the Season 2 cast.
Paramount+ also identifies Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond as new cast members for the season, with their roles still under wraps.
Guy Ritchie remains an executive producer, and Variety reports that he directed a number of episodes across both seasons.
Season 1 is currently streaming on Paramount+. Season 2 premieres globally on Friday, September 18, followed by weekly episodes.
