Monster Rancher Advance, Metal Slug Advance and Kururin Paradise are now in Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics. Nintendo’s October 2026 update is available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on Switch and Switch 2. Standard Switch Online membership does not include this GBA library.

Nintendo of America’s announcement was published on October 13 in the US, after midnight on October 14 UTC. These are additions to a subscription catalogue, rather than new remakes or three separately owned retail downloads.

Three different kinds of GBA game

GameWhat it is
Monster Rancher AdvanceA monster-raising and battling game, bringing the series’ training focus to the handheld.
Metal Slug AdvanceA GBA run-and-gun entry in SNK’s action series.
Kururin ParadiseA puzzle-action sequel built around guiding a constantly rotating craft through narrow mazes.

The lineup offers three distinct activities: developing a creature, fighting through an action stage, and carefully navigating a moving obstacle. These descriptions identify the games; they are not impressions from a new playtest.

Why Kururin Paradise stands out

Kururin Paradise originally released only in Japan. Nintendo Everything reports that this update makes it available to players in North America and Europe.

That is a distribution milestone, but it does not establish a new English translation. Nintendo’s English announcement names the game without confirming its in-game language options. Check the app’s game information before assuming the original Japanese text has been localized.

How to access the games

Nintendo’s membership page confirms that the GBA collection is an Expansion Pack benefit on both console generations. Use an account with that active membership and the Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics app; update the app if the new titles are missing from your library.

Access is part of the subscription rather than permanent ownership of standalone copies. The service is not offered in every country, and a North American announcement does not establish an identical catalogue everywhere. Check your country’s official Nintendo listing for local access and supported languages.

Nintendo’s official update video

The original Nintendo of America upload confirms all three titles and says they are available now for Expansion Pack members. No new remake, game-specific online multiplayer mode or universal language update is announced in that description.
