R.E.P.O. is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. Nintendo confirmed the port in its October 28, 2026 Indie World recap. There is no announced month, exact release day or console price in that announcement.

For existing PC players, the main unanswered question is whether the Switch 2 version will connect to their games. PC–Switch 2 cross-play has not been announced in the checked sources.

What Nintendo confirmed

Nintendo names Switch 2, a 2027 window and online co-op. Its description centres on recovering valuable objects from dangerous environments with a physics-based grabbing tool, while procedurally generated levels change the routes and threats.

The Japanese October 29 recap also lists the game for 2027. That is a separate regional publication, rather than evidence that every country’s eShop has an identical launch schedule.

Original Nintendo Switch is not listed for this game. The showcase covered both Nintendo systems overall, but that does not put every featured title on both.

How does the existing PC game work?

Developer semiwork’s Steam listing dates the PC Early Access release to February 26, 2025. It describes online horror co-op for up to six players, with proximity voice chat and physics-based objects.

Teams extract valuables ranging from fragile ceramics to heavy pianos. Handling the cargo and coordinating around monsters are part of the job; money earned can buy equipment and upgrades.

Those details describe the current PC edition. Nintendo confirms online co-op for the port, but the checked console announcement does not establish its final lobby size, proximity-chat implementation or complete feature parity.

Cross-play, 1.0 and other platforms

Neither the Nintendo announcement nor the checked Steam page confirms PC–Switch 2 cross-play or cross-progression. Do not buy or plan a mixed-platform group on the assumption that either will be available.

The announcement also leaves open whether the console version will arrive alongside a PC 1.0 release. Steam’s Early Access status does not automatically describe how the Switch 2 product will be sold.

No original-Switch version, PS5 or Xbox schedule, physical edition, Nintendo preorder price, local multiplayer or performance target has been confirmed by these sources. An unannounced platform is not the same as a permanently excluded one.
