Sker: The Bleeding Veil is a new single-player horror game built around sound and stealth, with no direct combat. Wales Interactive and Stormind Games revealed it on October 14, 2026. PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are announced; Steam currently gives the PC version a Q2 2027 window.

Release window and platforms

The developer-provided Steam listing says Q2 2027, meaning April through June. Wales Interactive’s game page uses spring 2027 and lists all three platforms. The two window labels do not describe identical date ranges.

Those descriptions are not an exact date or confirmation that every console storefront will unlock together. A final day, regional schedule and price remain unannounced in the checked materials. The quarterly wording is the most precise current PC listing.

A return to an orphanage in 1924

The story follows Gareth Morgan, who returns to the orphanage he and his younger sister Elin knew as children while searching for her. Sister Gwenllian has gathered former orphans around a belief connected to the Siren’s Song.

The publisher’s press reference guide identifies the location as Sker Point Orphanage on Sker Island, Wales, in 1924. This is a new story in the universe established by Maid of Sker and Sker Ritual, set after the events at Sker Hotel. It is not presented as a multiplayer follow-up to Sker Ritual.

The Listeners hunt what they hear

The blind Listeners investigate noise, nearby rooms and hiding places. The developers describe broken glass, coughing and badly timed movement as ways to attract attention. Holding Gareth’s breath can help when a pursuer is close; choosing quieter routes or masking movement with other noise is part of the advertised stealth system.

The press guide explicitly describes no weapons or direct combat encounters. The practical distinction is that being discovered calls for evasion, timing and route choices, rather than a promised fighting system. These are the developers’ stated mechanics, rather than results from our own play.

Musical tools can help and expose you

Tuning Forks interact with resonant parts of the environment and harmonic puzzles. A wind-up Carillon accepts interchangeable cylinders whose melodies can briefly stun, disorient or manipulate certain pursuers.

The guide says those tools also create sound. Their value therefore depends on when and where they are used: a device that opens a route can also make Gareth easier to locate. The announcement does not establish that every melody works on every enemy.

Further footage and storefront updates will be needed for questions about difficulty and performance. For more confirmed announcements, visit Gaming and Gaming news.
