DC November 2026 Solicitations: Batman #15 Targets Bruce Wayne, Gangs of Gotham Debuts

DC's November 2026 solicitations put Bruce Wayne in the crosshairs in Batman #15, launch Gangs of Gotham, and set up major turns for Superman and the Justice League.

DC’s November 2026 solicitations are out, and Gotham looks like the place where most of the trouble is gathering.

The biggest hook comes from Batman #15, written by Matt Fraction with art by Jorge Jiménez. Six assassins are coming after Bruce Wayne at the El Granda Gala Enmascarado, and DC’s solicitation goes as far as teasing that Bruce will appear to die in front of the world before the night is over.

That does not mean DC has confirmed the literal death of Bruce Wayne. Solicitation copy is designed to sell the issue, and comics have a long history of turning lines like that into something more complicated. What is clear is that the issue pushes Fraction’s current Gotham storyline into a much more public crisis when it arrives on November 4.

The same month also digs deeper into the criminal network surrounding Batman. Batman 2026 Annual #1, due November 25, focuses on the Torus, the organization that has taken control of Gotham’s underworld, and the mysterious Minotaur at the center of it.

That story is also spilling into a new series.

Anarky and another Gotham street-level character appear on Ariel Olivetti's cover for Gangs of Gotham #1.

Gangs of Gotham #1 launches November 4 from writer Christopher Cantwell and artist Mike Henderson. The premise puts Anarky in an ugly position: the Torus orders him to bring the roughly 100 Gotham street gangs outside its control under one banner. Success earns him a place at the table. Failure gets him killed.

It is one of the more interesting pieces of the November lineup because it takes a thread running through the main Batman material and gives Gotham’s street-level criminal world its own book instead of keeping everything inside Bruce Wayne’s orbit.

Batman also gets pulled into a very different problem in Detective Comics #1115. Tom Taylor and Mikel Janín begin a new arc in which Clark Kent is accused of murder and jailed while awaiting trial. Batman tries to clear his friend’s name, only to find evidence that appears to make the case against Clark worse.

Superman’s own books are busy too. Absolute Superman #25 closes the oversized “Get Brainiac” story on November 4, with DC teasing that its ending will push the Absolute version of Superman into a new era. Meanwhile, Superman #44 from Joshua Williamson and Xermánico revolves around a corrupted Black Lantern ring and raises the possibility of Nekron returning if Superman falls under its influence.

The Justice League gets a milestone issue as well. Justice League Unlimited #25 is an oversized 40-page release from Mark Waid, Nicole Maines, Dan Mora and Fico Ossio. The issue finally deals with the post-DC K.O. Visions and puts Dreamer at the center of the League’s attempt to understand what comes next.

There are plenty of other books in the full November slate, including Absolute Batman: Beyond Ark M #1 — see our DC Absolute Universe reading order for where one-shots like it fit into the wider line — and an oversized Batgirl #25, but Gotham’s expanding Torus story is the clearest thread connecting several of the month’s biggest releases.

For Batman readers especially, November looks less like a collection of isolated issues and more like DC tightening several different parts of Gotham around the same criminal power struggle.
