Reacher and Neagley Update: Spin-Off Renewed for Season 2

Prime Video has renewed Neagley for Season 2. The Reacher spin-off’s first season and Reacher Season 4 are streaming in full, while the main series has been renewed through Season 6.

Neagley Has Been Renewed for Season 2

Amazon announced the renewal in an October 1 update. It says Neagley Season 1 reached 40 million viewers globally in its first 13 days. Amazon also ranks it among Prime Video’s ten most-viewed original-series seasons and as the platform’s fourth most-viewed original-series debut. These are Amazon’s reported figures, not independently audited audience totals.

Prime Video has not announced a Season 2 premiere date or window, episode count, story, production schedule, or supporting cast. Alan Ritchson guest-starred as Jack Reacher in Season 1, but his involvement in Season 2 has not been confirmed.

What Is Streaming Now?

Season 4 completed its run on September 16. It adapts Lee Child’s Gone Tomorrow, sending Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson, into a new conspiracy after a subway encounter with a distressed stranger goes horribly wrong.

Amazon says Season 4 reached 66 million viewers globally in its first 28 days, surpassing Season 3 and ranking among the five most-viewed seasons of any Prime Video original series. Amazon also says Reacher has reached more than 200 million viewers worldwide since its 2022 debut. Both figures are Amazon’s reported audience totals.

Neagley, Prime Video’s first Reacher spin-off, debuted after the Season 4 finale on September 16.

Maria Sten returns as Frances Neagley, now working as a private investigator in Chicago. After learning that a close friend from her past died in a suspicious accident, she sets out to uncover what happened.

Prime Video has not announced a Season 5 premiere date.

Prime Video has also ordered another season beyond Make Me. See our Reacher Season 6 status guide for what Amazon has confirmed and what remains unannounced.
