The Record of a Fallen Vampire is getting a TV anime in 2027. The October 5 announcement supplies a year, not an exact premiere date. Lead voices, production staff and a teaser are public; a streaming service has not been named in the current official material.

What the story is about

The official introduction follows Strauss, the last king of the ruined Night Kingdom, as he searches for his sealed queen, Adelheid. His pursuers include the dhampirs, human–vampire descendants led by Bridget, and the supernatural Black Swan.

That premise introduces the conflict without disclosing the manga’s later reversals. A teaser cannot establish how much of the story will be adapted.

Watch Pony Canyon’s official teaser

Pony Canyon published this 47-second teaser on October 5:

The publisher’s accompanying announcement describes Strauss preparing to leave his kingdom to recover the queen and Bridget trying to stop him. Those are promotional images of their confrontation, not verified episode placements or final outcomes.

The manga’s English title and editions

The original manga pairs Kyo Shirodaira’s story with Yuri Kimura’s artwork and has nine collected volumes, according to Pony Canyon. Its Japanese title is ヴァンパイア十字界, commonly romanized as Vampire Juujikai.

VIZ’s official catalog uses The Record of a Fallen Vampire. Its volume 1 page lists an English paperback and retailer links. That catalog listing does not guarantee current stock or establish digital-subscription access.

What remains unannounced

As of October 5, the official materials checked do not supply a season, month, day, Japanese broadcaster, episode total or international streaming home. Anime-news coverage by Crunchyroll does not establish a streaming license. The announced year should remain 2027 until the production or a distributor narrows it.

Further adaptation announcements are collected on the Anime hub.
