Marvel’s WEBTOON-built Marvel Comics app launches November 16, 2026 for mobile and web, with more than 35,000 digital comics.

What is in the catalog?

WEBTOON names Marvel, Star Wars and 20th Century Studios: broader than a Marvel-superhero catalog, without an issue-by-issue launch list.

WEBTOON’s January agreement with Disney described a dedicated comics platform and a separate initiative adapting selected stories for vertical reading in the main WEBTOON service. The two projects should not be confused. Nor should planned Disney-portfolio expansion be treated as a guarantee that every franchise, collected edition or WEBTOON Original is included at launch.

Before choosing a plan for one particular book, look for that exact title and issue rather than relying on the total catalog count.

Base and Ultimate prices

PlanMonthlyAnnualEarliest new-issue window after print
Base$9.99$69.99Three months
Ultimate$12.49$99.99One month

Prices exclude tax. These dollar amounts do not establish local pricing or worldwide access. Windows are minimum waits, not per-issue guarantees.

Founding offer: $59.99 plus tax, prepaid for year one of Ultimate. Redeem after launch; renewal is $99.99 plus tax/year unless canceled. Ages 18+; check signup for offer terms and eligibility.

What do the reading features do?

Pull List tracks followed series, characters and creators; recommendations use reading history and interests. Panel zoom and page-based or vertical reading are also announced.

For readers who follow several ongoing books, the useful question is whether a plan’s arrival window matches how they read. A discovery tool helps find a series; it does not remove the delay between its print and subscription releases.

When does Marvel Unlimited close?

Marvel’s FAQ distinguishes these 2026 deadlines:

DateChange
October 5New signups end
November 16New app launches; library imports open
December 7Unlimited reading and new content end
December 21Library browsing ends
December 28Unlimited app removed

Existing members read free until December 7. Import before then; verify the transfer.

Does your collection or subscription transfer?

Create a WEBTOON account to import your library, reading progress, redeemed comics and saved issues. Import details follow.

Payment details do not transfer. Catalog subscriptions must be set up with WEBTOON; purchased/redeemed libraries need an account but no paid plan.

Active subscriptions qualify for automatic prorated refunds for unused time around November 16, allowing 3–5 business days. Apple/Google handle third-party billing questions.

Gift-membership details are pending.

Before choosing a new subscription

Compare both libraries during the transition; successful sign-in alone does not confirm that everything transferred.

Before paying for a new plan, check these points on the signup service:

  • Is your country supported, and what currency and taxes apply?
  • Are your device and preferred reading format supported?
  • What does the offer charge today, and what will renewal cost?
  • What instructions apply to downloaded files or an unredeemed gift?

Check the service’s country, device and offline-download requirements; do not assume the new app matches Unlimited.
